How many times have you wanted to start something? Or, how many times did you actually start something, but didn’t see it through?
We see it all the time in the fitness world. You go buy the latest (expensive) online fitness program, maybe the new pair of running shoes, and a boatload of supplements. You are ready to go this time. Nothing will stop you. And yet, most people fail I’m sticking with their plan. Why does it feel so difficult, why does it feel like you lack willpower?
The truth is, relying on your willpower is a sure-fire way to eventually abandon your plan. That’s because willpower is finite and runs out. That’s why what you do at the beginning of your journey is so critical. And the most important thing you can do when you start is to make the decision to do one simple thing every single day that will lead you in the direction of your goals.
